Hazrat Maimuna bint Harith, otherwise called Umm al-Mu'minin Maimuna, was the spouse of Prophet Muhammad (harmony arrive) and is viewed as one of the Moms of the Devotees. Here is a short note about Hazrat Maimuna (may Allah be satisfied with her):
Hazrat Maimuna was brought into the world in the year 595 CE in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
She had a place with the Banu Hilal clan, a sub-clan of the bigger Quraysh clan, which was the clan of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Her dad, Harith ibn Hazn, was an aristocrat.
Hazrat Maimuna's most memorable marriage was to Abu Rahm ibn Abdul Uzza, who was one of the conspicuous figures of Mecca. After his passing, she stayed a widow for quite a while. In the year 7 AH (628 CE), Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) sent a proposition to be engaged to Hazrat Maimuna through her sister, Umm al-Fadl. After hearing the proposition, Hazrat Maimuna was glad and acknowledged it.
The marriage of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Hazrat Maimuna occurred in the period of Shawwal in the year 7 AH. Around then, the Prophet (pbuh) was 56 years of age, and Hazrat Maimuna was 51 years of age. This marriage held huge social and political ramifications, as it fortified the partnerships between the different clans of Arabia.
Hazrat Maimuna had the pleasure of being the last spouse of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). She lived with him for just three years until his demise in 11 AH (632 CE). In spite of the brief span of their marriage, Hazrat Maimuna had a profound love and regard for the Prophet (pbuh).
Hazrat Maimuna was known for her insight, devotion, and commitment to Islam. She was a dedicated supporter of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and assumed a functioning part in supporting him in his central goal. She portrayed a few Hadiths (colloquialisms of the Prophet) and was profoundly regarded by the early Muslim people group.
After the downfall of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Hazrat Maimuna kept on adding to the spreading of information and direction of Islam. She died in the year 51 AH (671 CE) and was covered in the sacrosanct burial ground of Jannat al-Mu'alla in Mecca.
Hazrat Maimuna's union with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gave individual joy to her as well as fortified the bonds among the clans and advanced the reason for Islam. Her life fills in as a motivation for Muslims, underscoring the honest significance, dedication, and administration to mankind. May Allah be satisfied with her.
